1. Better For The Environment
I know this sounds a little wild, but it’s true! For those who don’t want to add to the carbon footprint of the environment, having a cat is the best option. This is certainly true when compared with having a dog as a pet.
2. They'll Help You Cope
When you lose a close friend or loved one, it can be very painful to deal with the aftermath. To help you with the situation, get a pet. It’s one of the best things you could do. In this specific situation, a cat is a much better companion than a dog.
3. Find A Significant Other
If you’re a guy and you’re single, getting a cat is a great way to find your significant other. In a British poll conducted by Bristol University, it was found that more than 80% of women, who responded, were more attracted to men with animals.
4. Smart Owners
That’s right, people who own cats are often more intelligent than other kinds of pet owners. In the same study by Bristol University, it was seen that nearly 50% of families with a cat were likely to have at least one person with a college degree. With dogs, it was found that only about 40% of families could say the same.
