1. Overeating
Getting in shape not only makes you feel good about yourself, you’ll also avoid health issues.
But it’s important to do it the right way. Eating just one meal a day may not be the greatest way to lose weight. You see, in order for your body to function, it needs the proper amount of nutrients and energy. When you eat only a single meal, you starve yourself. This only deprives you of essential nutrients.

2. Slows Down Metabolism
When you eat only one meal a day, your body’s metabolism slows down. This is so it can hold on to the energy already present.

3. You Go Into Starvation Mode
I mentioned starving a couple times already, but let’s talk about this in greater detail. Since you won’t be feeding yourself anything other than one meal, your body will come to the conclusion it’s starving. As a result, this kicks your body into starvation mode. Over the next while, it will learn to adapt to the situation in order to survive.

4. Your Body Shuts Down
There’s sometimes nothing scarier than realizing your body isn’t working properly. Along with increasing your hunger levels and slowing down your metabolism, there are other negative impacts to eating just one meal a day. Due to the lack of fuel, your body will start to shut down to protect itself.
